Earlier this year Glenfiddich launched a hunt to find the world’s most experimental bartender. This global search aims to recognise and reward maverick individuals who collaborate with artists outside of the traditional drinks world in order to create a more surprising, inventive drinking experience.
On 28th September the Glenfiddich Experiments hosted an event at Industrial Avenue, The Westin Mina Seyahi, where 5 deserving finalists (Isaac Viner and Sigrid Sarv from Weslodge Dubai, Emilio Valencia from El Sur Dubai, Gayan Fernando from Hakkasan Abu Dhabi and Giacomo Vezzo from Toro Toro Dubai) showcased their own interpretation of how to best serve of Glenfiddich. Each bartender collaborated with a master of another field, such as a musician, chef, designer or artist, to co-create a unique drinker experience inspired by Glenfiddich. This was the first of a series of Glenfiddich Experiments events created to push the boundaries of whisky perceptions and champion the brand’s maverick spirit.
